A Caribbean adventure for some of the most exciting fishing you will ever experience.
Los Roques is an Archipelago off the coast near Caracas. It is quaint and unspoiled with no cars or trucks allowed. The only vehicles are golf carts that transport luggage and packages.
Pez Raton Mediterraneo Lodge is known for high quality and quantity Bonefishing and its island tranquility. It may well be one of the best kept – Salt-water fishing secrets. The number of anglers is limited by the availability of accommodations. No more than 12 anglers at any given time.
Bonefish are known for the fight they put up and the sport they make up. If you are looking for record Bonefish, Los Roques may be your spot!

The Fishing
 Bonefish are not the only fish that can be caught off the sand flats in over 300 cays in the archipelago, there are also Tarpon, Barracuda, Spanish Mackerel, Snook, and Permit. After a great breakfast complimented by Strong Venezuelan Coffee, you will be taken out to the cays on 27 foot ‘V’ hulled boats. You will be dropped off at one end of a flat with your guide – walk the flat- fishing as you go- and be picked up at the other end. There is also a 33 foot Contender that is rigged to fish the reefs and farther out waters for Wahoo, Yellow-fin, Jacks, Dorado, and several other reef species.

If you want a break from the fishing, there are: snorkeling, scuba-diving, swimming, beach-combing, birding, windsurfing, and chartered catamaran day cruises.

The accommodations are spacious and inviting. Each guest room has a private bath, safe, ceiling fan, and individually controlled air-conditioning. You will also find a large and welcoming open-air lounge and comfortable dining areas in which to enjoy appetizing meals.

The cost of the trip includes meals, double occupancy lodging, boats and guides, Airport transfers, fishing license and permits, and round trip air transportation between Caracas and Los Roques.
