Peacock bass fishing at its best!
Fishing in Brazil... An Amazon Adventure

The Amazon Rain Forest of Brazil is home of the current world record Peacock Bass caught in 1994 on a tributary of the huge Rio Negro River. The Rio Negro is truly one of the very best rivers in the world for turning out Peacock Bass in excess of 20 lbs. The Rio Negro, the largest tributary of the famed Amazon River, gets it's name from it's black water. This dark tannic acid water has very few mosquitoes or other annoying insects which is truly a blessing considering it is located in the heart of the Amazon.

Fly into the Amazon and back out on Float planes.  On the trips in and out you will see the Amazon and rain forest as few will ever see them.

Guests will have the opportunity to fish from boats that are custom-constructed for this specific environment. Twenty one feet long and very stable, these boats are shallow-draft tunnel designs, which can traverse almost any level of water, including virtually landlocked lagoons

Fishing
Anglers fish two per boat with a talented Brazilian guide well versed in the nuances of bait casting, spin and fly fishing. He is intimately familiar with the waters and will put you into impressive numbers of big fish.

Testimonials

Rebel:

I want to thank you for all of your help in planning, preparing and scheduling our trip to Brazil. Between our need to change outfitters and my lack of experience with this type of travel I know we were not the easiest group. In the end, we all had an amazing time. Often you anticipate a trip like this so much that reality is a letdown. Not this time.
We were really happy with the outfitter and the guides. We all found the floating tent setup quite comfortable. For those considering it in the future, the air conditioner in the tents worked very well. They could use an air conditioner in the dining tent, but that is really only a minor inconvenience that seems almost appropriate considering the location. In addition, the food and drinks were good, and there was always plenty of both. Most of all, the guides were good too. They worked hard, always spotting fish for you to cast too, extremely good at repairing damaged tackle and always willing to do whatever it took to rescue a hung lure, or more importantly, a tangled fish.
I also want to thank you for pairing us with your friends on this trip. Because of our excitement they probably did not know what to think of us when we arrived at camp, but they quickly made us feel comfortable. I roomed with Wilson and had the opportunity to fish with both Wilson and Jim. They could not have been more helpful with fishing tips and had some fantastic stories of past trips they had been on. You should also know that they all spoke very highly of you and it was obvious to see that they all really value and cherish their friendship with you.
All three of us caught a fish over 15 lbs. but none of us broke 20lbs. So, that means I will have to go back. Keep me in mind if you ever putting another group together and have an extra spot.

Thank you for everything!
Troyce Nolan

Rebel:

I had one heck of a good time. Rubbing the noses of the professional angler's in the fact that I caught more fish than anyone else only added to my enjoyment. (Honestly, all I did was use the lures the guides suggested: jigs and Yozhuris.)
Wilson Cosby is a Hoot! I love that guy.
I am sorry that I was such a difficult customer for Anglers and Hunters due to my late trip registration and my strange travel schedule in the week leading up to the trip. Thanks for your patience and for making it all happen.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Sorry I embarrassed your more experienced angler friends so badly. Well, okay, not really.

Kind regards,
Dan Garrison
