The Hunting:

A typical day
The hunting day
generally starts just before sunrise. Your beverage of choice will be
brought to your suite by one of the camp attendants. You will then proceed
to the main dining room for a hearty breakfast, after which the safari
will begin.
At midday when the heat is most intense, you will return to camp for a
buffet-style lunch served in the summerhouse area near the swimming pool.
This is followed by a short rest, after which coffee is served. And – it’s
back to the hunt..
You can expect to find an incredible variety of wildlife from exotic birds
and green lizards to all the game you have heard about in Africa including
but not limited to: Zebra, Leopard, Kudu, Red Hartebeest, Baboon, Blesbuck,
Cheetah, Impala, Dik-dik, Duiker, Eland, Giraffe, Sable, Jackal, Wart-hog,
Waterbuck, Wildebeest, Oryx, Lynx, and more.
An
adventure of a lifetime!

Go on an
African safari for the trophy of your dreams!

What about the
Safari?
You will hunt or photograph on privately owned Kalahari Land – known as
the Rooikraal Game Ranch. It is approximately 80 square miles or about
37,000 acres and located about a 30 minute ride from the Lodge. If
required there are contiguous concessions to the Ranch which make total
available hunting area of over 150 square miles. So you see there will be
plenty to see and/or to take as trophies. The Ranch land is inhabited only
by game, and there is beauty as far as the eye can see – to be captured
one way or another.

While you are
not hunting –
Time spent in your comfortable, well-appointed room will be enjoyable.
Each suite has a private bath, reading lamps and bedside tables, a
large wardrobe, comfortable chairs, a desk, ceiling fan and fireplace,
and extra long beds with firm mattresses and down duvets and pillows.
Ahhh!
In addition to the comfort of your own private room, you will find the
Living room another comfortable place to relax. It is beautifully
appointed, cozy and inviting. |
While
you are hunting
Our camp
is set on the side of a tall hill overlooking a valley of Acasia trees. In
the distance are beautiful mountains. From your well appointed luxury
tent, one can often see magnificent Kudu, Gemsbuck and a variety of other
game as they wander through the area. There are also many species of
beautiful birds to observe, both inside and outside your tent camp. Each
tent consists of comfortable beds, cupboards, a private bathroom with hot
and cold water, everything to ensure your absolute comfort. You will be
treated to traditional cuisine, particularly game, locally grown
vegetables and fruit. All enhanced with your choice of South African
wines.
All hunting here is ‘fair chase’ guided by ethical professional
hunters.
It is an ideal destination for hunters, non-hunting observers and
families. Hunters Namibia Safari Lodge is located in a clean,
malaria-free, stable and safe area, and typically has excellent hunting
weather. You will find a warm welcome awaits you at this terrific lodge
and ranch.
